Oh foreign moon

why must you pull

with force so strong you move the sea

held captive by your orbit light

time passes in your phases.

A vision at last released within

released to depths unknown

but the tides are swollen

the current grows strong

at last pulled under

we are lost—

and all that remains is hope in the strength of a wave to carry us home.

On many roads you have followed us

alone but always watching

still filled with wonder at your sight

invite us back again

please lead us back again

and guard our dreams from all the storms that lie before us still.

Love to you all,
