I am a writer and poet continuing my practice as a registered nurse, health educator and speaker. I am also certified in cognitive-behavioral group therapy.
I write under the pen name, Kelly Huntson, formerly known as Nurse Kelly on this site. So yeah, I don’t really exist. lol
Seriously though, I am happily married (twenty-four years and counting!) and the proud mother of two young adults and one beloved dog named Ruby.
What else. I love to write! Writing invigorates me as does my profession. I hope both will continue to grow and evolve in meaning.
And that’s about it ‘about me.’ Oh, and I’m completely overwhelmed by social media. If you figure it out, let me know. ;-)
Thank you very much for the visit!

“Creativity is great medicine for all, both the creator and the one who experiences it. It prevents disease and promotes wellness. It is not indulgence, it is fundamental to medical practice.”
~ Patch Adams, M.D., as quoted in Illness and the Art of Creative Self-Expression by John Graham-Pole (Oakland, CA: New Harbinger, 2000)
